The operational process: 4 easy steps

1. Your documents come to us

Delivery of the files to the Caya scan centre. Depending on the arrangement, we can collect them or you can send them.

2. Digitise your archive

We digitise your documents using a highly standardised and automated process. Our scan centres are all located in Germany and are ISO-certified.

3. Provision of documents

You receive your documents as a coloured pdf document including text recognition (OCR) in the Caya Document Cockpit or on an sFTP server.

4. Destruction or archiving

Destruction of the original documents on request. If you decide against destroying the original files, they can be send to you.

We always scan all mail that we receive. To do this, we also remove staples or staples, for example. Only documents that must be damaged by us to fully scan are not completely scanned by us. In such cases, only a stand scanner is used to scan the first page. These include notary deeds with seals, for example.
