Manual assignment of letters without a customer number

If your letters reach us without a customer number, we will add them manually, provided that they can be clearly assigned to your account. This can happen, for example, if you share your CAYA mailbox address without providing the customer number. If you have your mail diverted to us using a forwarding order placed via Caya, you will never incur any additional costs.

What happens after booking?

After booking, we will set up your forwarding order. After a few days, the postal companies will no longer deliver your mail to you on site, but to one of our scan centers. We will then scan your mail on the same day we receive it and make it available to you in your Caya account. You will of course be notified of this via e-mail and/or push notification.

Can all mail be digitized?

We always scan all mail that we receive. To do this, we also remove staples or staples, for example. Only documents that must be damaged by us to fully scan are not completely scanned by us. In such cases, only a stand scanner is used to scan the first page. These include notary deeds with seals, for example.

What happens to the original documents after scanning?

The original documents will initially be kept free of charge for 90 days in our short-term archive. Within this time, you can request documents via immediate delivery at any time. On request, we can also send you all documents regularly (monthly, biweekly, weekly) in bulk or permanently archive your documents in our long-term archive.
